Abstract
This research addresses international responsibility for cyberattacks in light of rapid cyberspace development and related legal challenges. The research focuses on the problem of attribution and the difficulty of identifying responsible state actors. The study analyzes the principle of due diligence in obligating states to prevent the use of their infrastructure in cyberattacks against other states. The study concludes that traditional international responsibility rules face fundamental challenges in the cyberspace context.
